or I was looking at the Toyo F4 $350.00 a tire though they're all season and the yoko's aren't.

They're not bad, but for the amount of road noise and droning I put up with, I should have bought Falkens. The other thing that bothered me about the es100s was that they tended to steer into the road imperfections on the freeway.

From what I have heard from different people, Yokahama makes good tires. I drove on the Yokohama Parada Spec 2's for a day until snow came again and I went stock again. The road noise isnt as bad as I thought it would be, and definitely not a problem for me since I blast the stereo anyway. Some people say that they don't handle well in the rain, and definitely not in snow, but I have heard really good things about Yokohama.

I don't know about the Parada, since we are talking about the es100 series here. But anyway, you should definitely make another comment after you put over 15 k miles on them.

two WRX guys at work have ES100's and love them. If I were going to get a summer tire it's what I'd get.

tirerack.com has 18/235/40 for $114 a tire (or something close to that).

Yeah they are supposed to be great for the price! I just don't like the way they buldge out(side) for the rim protection, then indent in towards the tread. Where as other tires have the the buldgethat blends in to the tread.
