04 tl dampers and springs

Does anyone know if the 04 tl struts and springs will work with the 7Gs? I am looking for only a moderate drop and thought the ASpec suspension might work.

Comptech springs for 7gen Accord, TSX, 04 TL have same part number, and struts most likely will be same also.

Our Accords have a sports package option from Honda that comes with springs/shocks that lower about 1''.

The "Factory Performance Package" has struts for a 1" drop, but so far I've only heard of one person actually being able to get them seperately from the dealer, and they were very expensive. Dealers don't seem to want to break up the package that retails for like $3k for what amounts to be the oem aero kit, a 1" drop and 17" upgraded rims. Do a search for more details on the FPP.

FPP shocks/struts, albeit pricey, are available (at least according to eVTEC)......

well, I guess I will wait. I am running the 04 tl wheels and tires some I am a little concerned about rubbing. I think the safer bet will be coilovers. Thanks for the help.

I've got an 04 TL with 7th Gen Accord Goldline Springs and they fit perfect. The suspension setup for both is supposed to be the same.

so are the springs and shocks from the 04 TL any better than the ones from the 7th gen accords? I have yet to test drive one, but if they are better, and they fit on our cars, it would be a cheap upgrade.

just to clarify, I'm not talking about a-spec, just the 2004 TL-S suspension parts that are available from acuraautomotiveparts.org
