19x8in 40mm offset???

will 19x8 40mm offset wheel with 235/35 fit on a lowered 7th gen coupe???? there have been some posts that say it will rub and/or fenders need to be rolled -- does anyone know specifics for sure, what offsets are you 19 inchers using????

thanks brex but...

i would hate to get the 19x8 40mm offset wheels and find that they rub, and im pretty sure that my car's lowered more than 1.5in and when i get new shocks i would like to go maybe .5 - 1 inch lower

any other advice from wheel/tire gurus and fellow 19 inchers regarding 19x8 40mm offset w 235/35/19's on the av6 coupe would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance

Everything I read on this forum leads me to believe that a 45mm offset is needed for a 19x8.

U will need to test fit. That is the only true way to know. Now I know it will fit, but not positive on the rubbing detail with car lowered. But you can fit an 20x8.5 on a 7th gen so I wouldnt say its impossible. I wish I could be more help. But here is a pic of my old 19x8 ACE Allures that were a +42mm offset on a race drop on my old six speed coupe. Oh yeah no rub at all and no modifications to the fender well either.
