Bmw wheels sti wheels? am i retarded?

My friend recently proposed a very reasonable sale pitch to me. He owns a 2001 bmw 325i he just got rims and wants to sell me his oem rims for $500 with new michelin pilot sport 2's now i would need a fittment piece for them as well. The 17"by 8". would that work? Another proposal came to me from my friend who has a 2004 wrx sti, the wheels are the bbs gold 17" by 7.5 im not possitive but pretty sure they have the same dimensions as the accord coupe v6 bolt patter. Not sure which tires are on them but they are high qaulity sport summer. would i also need to recalibrate my speedo? Also if i went with the bbs i could get them dipped black or gun mettel right? if so for about how much?

I'm not positive about the BMW, but the 2004 STi's rims are 17x7.5 55 offset 5x100. You would need 2005 STi rims. They're 17x8 55 offset 5x114.3. I don't know about the center bore of the rims, though so it would be more or less a toss-up if that was the same as the Accord.
