Will These Rims Fit ?

I made the mistake of putting 2 question on one thread so decided to start another (sorry all you sysop types). So heres the 2nd question. Looking at rims will these fit ? Any one know the brand of the tires ?

This is what I am looking at :

18" Racing Hart (R/H) c-2 Evo Silver

tires = 225/40/18 (tread = 70-75%) (LOOKS LIKE SAIS "FEDERAL" ON THE TIRES)

4/5 x114 pattern

any opinions or suggestions

Rick

you can run on 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 tires. 235/40/18 is closest to the stock diameter. How wide is the wheel and whats the offset?

im sorry, but can u tell me why not? (not trying to sound sarcastic or anything). there are some ppl running 18 x 7 or 18 x 7.5 with 42mm offset with a drop and they say its fine, gives it that flushed look but still doesnt rub.

im looking at the auction as well, and he listed this in his info

You are bidding on one set of four brand new 18x7.5" +45mm offset Hyper Black Riax Zuka's by Motegi Racing. The bolt pattern is 5x100 and 5x114.3 (5x4.5). These wheels have a hyper black face with a polished, clear coated lip. Take a look at the pictures, you will not be disappointed! Center caps are included.
i didnt see see anywhere in the auction that he states anything about tires...i think its just for the wheels.

*im not taking sides but just stating what i see i also want to know why the fitment isnt that good on the car, 18 x 7 with 42mm offset...again not trying to sound like mr smartypants but just rather curious

7" From what I've read limits the tire width.... For clarification looking at 2 at this time.

1)in classified section of the board (comes with rims and tires) $800 or $650

2)fair price on ebay but no tires (then I could get the tires I want)

Rick

I bought my wheels from that guy. I won the auction on a Monday night and got my wheels that Friday. No problems at all. Just look at his feedback, 99.9% on almost 2400 feedbacks. Looks like wheels only.
