why do honda's come with such a huge wheel gap anyway? i mean, look at bmw and mercedes, they have relatively gorgeous wheel gap from the factory (relatively). it doesnt seem like it would be that much more expensive or hard to engineer, and it definately looks better, i just dont get it.

Oh, and btw, gorgeous drop, i like the wheels too. i like your car overall. very nice man

LOL..yeah that photoshop is my roommate doing in under 3 minutes. i was like :EEK2:

but anyway yeh hes trying to get me to go with at least a 2" drop and that photoshop kinda rubs me the right way.

so what im looking at right now is

koni yellows with h techs sitting on the lowest perch for additional drop.

if after getting the yellows i think that the lowest perch doesnt drop the car a lot, ill go with h&r sport springs.

but yeah wtf did honda give us such large wheel gaps?

Equation for Honda (and for that matter other family cars)

Car for general populace = Soft ride (so as to not have ppl oversteering into trees and ditches, think lowest common denominator; Honda has to dial in understeer so people won't drive too fast) + large wheel gap to give more suspension travel for said soft ride.

gotcha!! but bmw and acura tl are still family cars..and so are camries...

enh.. i think honda likes to play with our minds. or..... a lot of ppl dont notice..half the people i know who own accords (work, friends, neighbors) dont notice a difference between the two pics.

headlights are generic projectors scored off ebay, with PIAA xtreme whites.

wheels are roja formula 5s, mounted on avon 550 AS (great great great setup) rims weight in at 14.5 lbs. tires are ridiculously sticky. barely any wheelspin in 1-2 shift now.

Dayem! 15lb rims!!! Wait till you drop her...you'll be darting in and out of traffic like Speed Racer!

Your car looks nice and mean in that all black mode! I'd recommend a tint job for the windows maybe 35% all around but that's just my .02 cents. But yeah...drop that thing ASAP.

also gonna add the neuspeed front strut bar.

yeh those lightweight rims are fly :-) hehe i just wish id paid more attention to my tire weight..those are 27 lbs.

Sweet ride, definitely drop that son of a b!tch asap.

But dude, it's actually nice for it not come out of factory with that drop.

Why? because then every Accord would have that look and it would take away from your car looking different than the rest on the street. This way only the ones who lower it will have that nice, aggressive look that 9/10 accord coupes on the street won't, you know what I mean? I dunno, maybe it's just me.

to know if konis with htech will go that low ill have to see the perches the springs sit on. the front htech drop is 1.4"' if the lowest perch on the konis is .6 inches lower that is bout a 2"d rop that should do it for me.

yeh what is going on with our koni gb?

i just posted an update on the site we are waiting on a few more people to pay so like the sooner u pay the sooner we all get em. We will send in the order once we receive everyone's payment. Once we recieve the last money payment we will send the order to Koni in Italy ASAP and will take roughly 2 weeks give or take to ship.
