Lol the point of this was?

For when you take those hairpins at 120+ you don't want your chassis flexing right?

I hope you don't have alot of people who ride in your back seat. How stable is it being connected only at your seat belt mounting points? I mean, is there really a difference that you can tell?

hahah yes i kno people gonna hate on this mod...

have u takin off the seat belt bolts? they are VERY secure. the bolt itself is about 2-3 inchs long...it does help stiffen up the middle part of the car....but i will say that 50% of me did this for show....but after doing it i do like it. people that go in the back seat will have to bend down lower to get in. but yeah i dont like having passengers in the rear n e ways. but it doesnt matter just wanted to share with u guys my new mod. hate it or love it this is how i am. and i love moding my car...so its not wasting or having too much time on my hands...

Sorry bro but not really feelin it...basically because you can't recline the seats anymore. But I give you credit for creativity and I'm glad you like it because that's really what matters most.

that looks like it could be potentially dangerous for passengers in the rear if you were to be in an accident.

this reminds me of a roller coaster ride at six flags or something when u strap on ur seatbelts and hold on the metal bar for added safety, hah.

personally, i would never do this mod.

me and my girl use the passenger seat reclined all the way down way too often

good idea.. but the material look kinda cheap..

i wanted to do the same thing with sparco's harness bar, but they only provide it for evo, and couple other cars..

and don't flame me.. cuz i got no back seats.. my car is only two seaters..

you should at least powdercoat it or something - make it look finished...right now it just looks like what you did, throw a few pieces in to somewhere that it'd fit. i think it's pretty non-functional, but would definitely suggest getting it powdercoated or just rattle-can it so it looks a lil more finished.

Is it just me, or is does the bar look bent? Is the bar solid or did you have to connect two different bars?

the bar is hallow and yes its two connected to one. its a lil bent but still pretty rigid.

Hmm... I mean great idea, but what is the point of it? I can understand if you had some racing seats (momo, recaro, etc) but there are none.... Umm hats off to creativity though..

racing seat people should not mount their seat belts to this...seat belts are supppose to be mounted to the frame near the rear seats. or to a roll cage...and this is not a roll cage.

Just my opinion, but it doesn't really fit in well with the car. I have a white 03 Accord just like you and im about having everything match. I dunno maybe it would look better if you get the bar in gloss black or something. Looks bent and stuff. I give you props for the creativity though. Just looks out of place to me b/c there is a big long bar in the m iddle of the car.
