Axis Hiro 19"

Hello everyone, My brother just sold his IS300 and took off his 19x 8.5 Axis Hiro rims. I really like the rim, and he said he will give it to me. The problem is if it will fit. I was thinking about just trying it on and test it out but hope it doesn't rub. It would be nice ahead of time to know if it fits or not....does somebody have it done?? its 19x8.5 all around with 225/35/19 tires....if i'm not mistaken. Car is not lowered.

8.5 might be a bit too wide.

yea im figuring since a is300 is RWD....and since Axis Hiro's come in staggered sizes from wheelmax...that theres a chance he might have a real low offset on the rear to get a big lip...basically...if it has much of a lip on it....then it probably won't work without heavy mods like fender stretching and rolling...

you might need some kind of adapter for them to work though...we have an IS300 and i tried to see if the wheels would fit on my car from it and they wouldn't because of the way the hub is on ours...so I dunno but thats just my .02...

Ok, finally found the offset number. Its 19x8.5 with a 45 offset. Tires are 225/35/19. Anybody have these exact specs on their 7th gen sedan.??? THanks.

you will have terrible rubbing problems, besides.. you need to know the lug pattern.. i think toyota's are 5 x 100mm

honda's are 5 x 114.3mm

Toyota has the same lug pattern 5x114.3. You should be fine with a 45 offset on a 8.5 wheel. There are some members on here running a 8.5 wheel with a 45 offset with no problems.
Here are some pics of 19x8.5 45 offset with a 245/35/19 tire AcCoRd16's car

I think you will be safe with a 225 tire.

bad myth...

5x100 will be on smaller cars.....but these days a lotta imports are using 5x114.3...like the new SI.

if you are not dropped im forsure that it will not rub. also if u are rubbed with that tire size im sure u are ok.

BUt do the right thing and put it on. only takes a 30 mins are so. just do one side and drive around.. see if it rubs. simple. take pics too!

Hey thanks all, As soon as I get my wheels on, i'll take pics and post them. I'm waiting for my lip kit to be put on first, then i'll put the wheels on, but the lip kit should be on by next week. I'll update. Thanks again.
