Prokit springs for starters. If you don't want to have to deal with getting new shocks down the road, then get Koni shocks.

i would get some coilovers since you can be changing the height instead of being so limited in spring selection.

with 8.5s, you'll probably want to be gettin some stretched tires kuz i dont think theyre gonna be fitting well...rubbage is almost "eminent"

thanks you guys for all the good feedback. I think im going to go with the h&r coilover suspension kit. since I have a car audio business, I sould be able to get the kit for about $675-$725. I talked to my wheel guy at mht wheel, he said 245-35-20 will be fine on the 20X8.5/ offset 45. Just have to roll the rear fenders.

the stock wheel of an accord v6 6speed is 215-50-17
which is (215mm x .50= 107.5) then take 107.5 x 2=215
215 + (17inch x 25.4) =431.8
215+431.8= 646.8mm
646.8 / 25.4 = 25.46 inches wheel diam for the accord

245-35-20
245 x .35= 85.75
85.75 x 2 =171.5
171.5 +(20 x 25.4)=508
171.5 + 508= 679.5
679.5/ 25.4= 26.75 inch wheel and tire diam for 20x8.5 wheel
with 245-35-20 tires. which is 1.29 inch difference from stock wheel.

the factory wheel and tire width of 215-50-17. is 215mm /25.4= 8.46 inches wide. the aftermarket wheel and tire is 245-35-20
245mm/ 25.4= 9.645 inches or 9.65 inches. the difference of 1.185 inches or 1.9 inches.

Why not just get coilover instead of springs/shocks?

SickSixSpeed aka Drew had Tein SSP coilover on his 7th gen. It was set at the lowest perch possible. He had 20x8.5 Maido and he was fine without rolling the fenders. Even with 4 people in the car. He ran 225s though, not 245s.

well im going to get to get the h&r coilover kit.
my guy at mht wheel told me 245-35-20 works, since im lowering the car 235-35-20 would be best for the front(inside of the tire rub) maybe 245 in the rear

i need a good camber kit.. got close to a 2 inch drop in the front, stock in the back.. runnin 225/35/20's. i would rather buy my own kit than have shops in my area handle it, they get outrageous with the markups.. anybody got suggestions?
