Help please on tire size

I have the HFP suspension and just purchased a set of wheels that are 18x8 +35 offset. Can someone please give me some advice on what size tires I should run with this set up? Thanks ya'll!

on the 18x8 you should get 235/40/18 or 225/45/18. With the 35mm offset, Iam think you will have rubbing issues but not sure about it.

Thanks very much! OK dumb question, but what is the difference between the 225-45 and 235-40, is one thicker or wider than the other ? And you think the tire may rub the fender well? I still have some wheel gap so maybe it will be ok.

Click on the link. With 235/40/18 on 18x8 w/35 offset ... it reads that this set up will be 1.2" wider that stock, so my interpretation is that it will rub if you are lowered.

Yes the 225/45 is thicker and the 235/40 will be wider. I'd go with the thicker i.e. 225/45 because it gives better ride quality plus with the 35mm offset, it wont rub.

225/45 FTW for you

225 40 is what i use they seem pretty good, but my rears would rub if they were any bigger. with a 18" x 8" 42+offset
