What Tire Size to Get on a Lowered Car

just recently lowered my 05 Accord LX Coupe with Tanabe NF210 Springs.

I was thinking about purchasing these:

http://edgeracing.com/2005/Honda/Acc...upe/wheel/105/
Flik Artic (gloss Black)
Size: 17x7
PCD: 5x114.3
ET: 42 (I'm guessing that's the offset)

I know that our cars use a standard offset in between 45mm-50mm, but I've looked around and seen that some people have used anywhere from 40mm-50mm and I'm really not familiar how that works in conjunction with tire sizes.

I was curious with my lowered car, am I able to get these wheels with an offset of 42 and if so, what size tires?

Thanks in advance.

225/50-17 Would be a good option. Thats what I would suggest if you get 17s That will be about the thickest tire you can put on. May I ask why not 18's?

i think 50 is kinda too big.
my 6spd wheels came with 215/45/17 tires but im gona put 225/45/17 when its going to be time to replace. so i think you should get 225/45/17 plus with this once your speedometer should be as acurate as possible but if you go with 50 your speedo will read slower then your actualy going couse wheel going to be bigger. check tire size calculator if you think im wrong

I'll have to disagree with you. It's probably the biggest you should go but it's not really "too big".

And as for the speedometer, it's a very very minor difference.
