different tire sizes okay?

I'm looking into buying some used rims that already come with tires mounted for $400. THe rims are 17x7.5, offset +45, 5x114.3 bolt pattern but the tires that come mounted are different for the rear and the front. The front ones are 225/45/17 and 2 rear are 245/40/17. I calculated on tire size calculator and it said that the front tires will throw of speedometer by 2% and the rear will throw it off by 3%. Is that okay since its so little or will I have to buy new tires?

Speed is determined by sensors in the tranny, so the speed will only be off according to the front ones, but what may, not sure on this, may be a problem is the different rotation speeds on the wheel sensors that are read by TCS, I don't know if the3y will be so far out to creat false slippage readings by TCS.

In this case it is such a small amount that unless the TCS system gives you crap then it should be ok, but will look a little strange with the smaller on the back.

different width may not be a problem but different thickness between the front and rear may result in wierd handling
