J32 build progress

So a few weeks ago I started the tear down on a j32a3 I got from a friend. This project started out way more difficult then I ever planned on . Because the motor got left out in the rain prior to me getting it .
These are just a few pictures to illustrate the crazy about of damage that I observed . After ours quite a bit of honing I was able to rehab the cylinders these pictures don't really do justice to the final state of the cylinders . After this I removed the Pistons and completed the honing job. I originally thought the Pistons were we're not possible going to be useable but after cleaning them with scotchbrite they are starting to show some signs of life. Later this week I will try soaking them in carb cleaner and brushing them off . this is how they were after the scotchbrite cleaning and this is an example of them prior next I focused in on the head which were in horrible condition I plan on doing a full port and polish on the head and as of right now I have only completed the combustion chamber . Here are my before and after pics I have only worked on one head so far and a 20 minute time lapsed vid . Updates as they come

^ I am, but I never go on FB. You need to hit the Brandon meet on Wed. It's held at the Office Depot on SR60, across from the Mc D's. It was packed last night and I wore my stock clutch out after 6 runs on 100 shot. Even NA I cant get traction from a dig. On the 4th run the car just sat still when shifting into third gear. Still beat my buddies EK (Cams, GSR Heads, Full exhaust, gutted trunk, Stage 2 clutch, NEW TIRES (LOL), 75 shot nitrous, tune). My 4th gear (clutch grabs and traction) is nastyyyy!!! I dont walk away, I run. I can only imagine a good clutch and some DR's on my car.

They also got my car on Go Pro shooting flames out the exhaust. Didnt even know it did that, LMAO.

It's a Zex kit, currently running 75 shot. Love to see another 7th gen, hell even another Accord. I'm the only one around here that runs. There is one that is slammed but never see him at meets.

Favor to ask, could you measure the diameter of those heads combustion chamber? Pistons are 89mm bore on a J32 and would like to see if those J32 heads match. Thanks in advance

Shoot those measurements over if you get a minute. Check out my thread and you'll see why I'm anxious for them

I like to see rebuilds and see the BOM on the build. It helps me to understand charateristics of the engine. Its looking great!

When do you plan to be done with your swap? Going to be a pair of J32 swapped 6-6's around here in 2015

I started the car last night but I had a surging idle . Not sure what exactly is causing it .
I'm pretty sure my exhaust is leaking because it was pretty loud. Did any of you guys have gaskets on your jpipe ? Also do have any idea what may be causing this issue.q

Check the TB connections. Mine wasn't fully seated and did that. You may also have a vacuum leak. Hate to say this, but the engine does not sound good. Sorry man, keep us updated

Major vacuum leak, check the entire induction system for leaks. I already see a missing intake cover bolt, slow down and go thru everything again.....
