Anyone else's rear defrost suck?

I noticed both my and my wife's rear windshield defrost is so bad it almost does nothing. The lower lines work decent but even they r weak. anything above the fourth line is useless. Anyone have advise/similar experience?

See if you have a break in the line somewhere. They sell repair kits if you do.

Run your bare finger across each line and feel for any spots that are low or just missing. When you find one get a grease pen and mark the length and location on the window so you dont need to do this step again. Once you have all the spots identified use a repair fluid, you can find it at autozone etc. The stuff is a bit of a pita to work with and your contact surface must be prepped thoroughly (some brands advise scraping any remnants of the missing section from the window with a razor. It is a pretty straight forward fix though and shouldn't cost much to do. Good luck.

Lol. Yeah I suppose you could. I've fixed a few before and never thought to do that!
