help on what Wire to Tap for A/F (air fuel) Gauge

so after hours of reading, looks like a narrow-band Air Fuel Gauge isn't so bad:

The Oz sensors after the precats--sensor 2 of banks 1 and 2--are narrow-band. If you just want to monitor AFR, you can use the typical narrow-band guages like Autometer's. This should give you a reliable AFR indication. With the widebands making the primary AFR adjustments, I'm guessing that the readings from the narrow-bands' AFR guages will read rock steady most of the time, instead of the typical rich/lean cycling light show on the "older" engines. As far as installation, just follow the directions with the gauges. They are fairly simple and straightforward. My advice is to tap into the input wires to the PCM. That way, you stay out of the engine bay completely.

oh snap....let me read through my Haynes and see if i can find it

hope Kschwiggy mind or have to repost this info:

When I had the AF gauge i had a dedicated AFR sensor installed in the J pipe, so the only wire I tapped was power under the dash. The stock A/F sensors do not refresh very often, I believe.
