Supercharger Input?

Can anyone with a supercharger help me out here? Just some questions:
  • Can I supercharge with a '03 5at and not instantly blow my transmission?
  • I've heard the m62 and m90 both fit. Which is better and whats the difference?
  • What changes need to be made to accompany the supercharger?
  • I heard the supercharger sometimes replaces a component on the belt to use it's position. Sounds like BS but any input?
  • Do people use intercoolers with low boost? (4-6psi)

I recently noticed the price of one of these superchargers is like... 200$ and I feel like I could install it myself. So I'm gonna try to supercharge

Yeah my local salvage yard has them for 189.99. And they have a few cars with the m90.

Used of course. Rebuild it on a worse case scenario, having to do all of the internals, and you will have about 1,000 to 1,200 in it. It is much better, in all aspects, than the Comptech m62.

You laugh now, but...you may want to read NVA-AV6's thread on the m90 project to fully understand why the initial investment of $200 yields a hella HP increase.

m62 - Comptechs version? yeah, it is a kit that mounts up, if you can find one used. You could do it.

m90 - Nope you could not do it. You gotta fab a lot of stuff. If you can get one of the m90 S/C kits fabbed by NVA-AV6 then you could install his set up...maybe.
