J32 swap plans

So the guy selling me the supercharger ended up selling his car as a whole . So I think I'm gonna do a stroker j32a3. Was wondering what is required in entirety to swap a j32a3 in place of a j30a4 on a 2003 sedan v6 5AT EX-L sedan. Paul's input here would be useful if you're around :P Found out these engines are only like 500$ on ebay. Pretty dope gains for only 500.

Also what parts would be needed for a stroker build on 87 octane?

Also Also is there a difference between the 2004-2005 3.2 engine and the 06 07 08 TL 3.2?

Hardest part is getting the transmission remounted to the new one. And swinging out our transmission/getting the car high enough to slide it out.

04,05,06 J32 are the same, 07,08 new design bell housing.

Pull the engine and trans as a single unit out the top, then separate out of the vehicle. Before dropping the new engine into the vehicle replace the timing belt and water pump (soo much easier while it is out.) Also check the rear main seal, replace if any signs of leaking or weeping.

how did you bypass the immobilizer? Just recently did a j32a3 swap in my 03 coupe. kept the j30 ecu in because I couldn't find a j32a3 6 speed ecu, they were all autos. finally picked one up a few weeks ago but haven't swapped it in because of the immobilizer.

get the honda hds programmer or tow it to honda. You will need the tool. No way around it.

Went into the local dealership and explained to them about the swap. they said a Honda scan tool cant read an Acura ECU and I would have to go to an Acura dealership.

Is this true? the nearest acura dealership is over an hour away.

It isn't true. You need to find a tuner friendly dealership to hook you up or buy a fly100/HDS to do it yourself.

so a Honda scan tool will no problem if I just took it in and told them to hook it up?
I think they might really believe that it cant read becauase one of the service techs had a turbo k20 civic lol.

The acura j32a3 and honda j30a4 ecus are almost identical. I hooked up to both without issue using the HDS tool.

Appreciate the offer. I couldn't ask to do that, specially since you just had some ass take yours. I honestly don't know how to use a fly100. lol

I will pm you the link tomorrow. It's hidden. I need to rekey my spare keys to my car again. Since the first time I only had 1 instead of all the set.

So I will make a new video
