S2k tranny

I've been hearing rumors that the Honda S2k Transmission can bolt up to one of the J series motors with little to no modifications. Are those rumors true or even slightly true?

Hey, hey, now it is possible. But it's to the 6th gen or DBC j series, and not without modifications. It's also a very small knowledge base, you'll have to find one of the forums that has data on this for any hope of doing it successfully. S2k forums, and I hear there are some miata forums have data on this.

I'm no expert but....

S2k tranny will have a "yoke" coming out the rear of that tranny case for the driveshaft, since the S2k is rear wheel drive.

The Accords are front wheel drive and the tranny case, wether it be auto or manual, has driveshafts coming out both sides of the tranny.

The Miata guys can use the S2K tranny because, they are rear wheel drive.

huge difference, I'm going to say a Big NO.

I've seen videos and pictures of a j37 swapped s2k. I'm not sure if it is still using the stock trans and even then I'm not sure the j37 and j30 have compatible transmissions

It'll bolt to the Miata trans, and HPD/Honda have done a J37 S2000.
