new Exhaust set up w/sound clips

went with 2 Borla 40842S mufflers:

"S-Type" - 2.5" Center-Center 10" x 5" Round - Specialty Muffler part # 40842S

already had straight piping from the Cat from 1st Exhaust set up

much deeper and louder but without any raspy noise

hope this helps anyone thinking of going custom

sound clips tonight

Update: I finally got a Exhaust noise ticket...luckily I was able to get it dismissed with proof that I got the defect fixed.

anyhow, if you want maximum noise meaning a deep bass and not raspy sound, these modifications are what I had. (also, I have 2 subs in the inside cabin area right behind my rear driver side seat and the Exhaust system decibel was deeper than my subs

mainly for V6 but i've heard 4 cyls with just Intake and Exhaust and they sound pretty good

My mods that made the deepest, loudest Exhaust tone:

4" Intake Cold Air Intake, Short Ram Intakes make less power and noise
Straight Pipes Exhaust system + Mufflers. Mine are 2 Borla Mufflers - 40842S

https://www.borla.com/products/stype...t__40842s.html

from here, my next mod was J-Pipe (Tsudo)...it sounds pretty good with these 3 Performance Mods

what made it sound "violent" or maximum tone was the addition of High Flow Pre-Cats 2x aka RV6 HFPC's

these 4 performance modifications made that perfect deep and extremely loud exhaust tone

other stuff that was added but i didn't notice much difference in sound or decibel level:

Intake Spacer
3.7 Throttle Body
3.7 Intake Manifold

For my most current "legal" set up, I added a Borle S Type Mid-Pipe Muffler and its still fairly a nice deep tone but much more out the rear and not as much as in the interior cabin

hope this helps anyone looking to achieve a nice deep sound for your Accord

A real drone/excessive noise killer if you want it even quieter is the Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator. Took out some nasty 2500 rpm drone my G35 had (2500 rpm is 70 in 6th gear) and made road trips tolerable again. Got rid of the boomy part throttle sound when accelerating too. But may be too quiet if you like your exhaust on the loud side.
