P2R New Parts

Just spoke with P2R and thought I would share:

They have J Series billet cams and valves on the way in the next few months. Springs already out.

Engine management system (Hondata or KTuner) needed with cams and springs.

They said they have 1-2 parts releasing per month for the J over the next few months.

I spoke with whoever runs the P2R facebook account. They were very knowledgeable and good to work with, so it could possibly be Sean. P2R is a good company. I am looking forward to getting their cams, valves, and springs into my heads. Prepping my Accord now for when they are released.

Yeah they are really trying to push the J series stuff. I am working with the owner right now on R&D for camshaft spacer for the first gen motor.

If it were not for companies like P2R, I would not have kept my Honda, let alone start the project that I have started on it. P2R has some great products.

thisaznboi88, I remember you telling me about your work with P2R.

I always thought TB Motorworx would be the only ones to ever put out fresh ground cams. Another choice exists now, nice.

Talked to Sean at P2R. He said 3-5 more months on the cams. Valves he doesn't know an ETA on. Titanium retainers in June.

So these billet cams can be custom made to order? Or will they only sell cams already R&D'd for motor-safe street and racing applications? Since we will need a standalone EMS to run these, does anyone have any ideas on the potential gains we can expect to see on our motors (NA, turbo, etc). Would like to compare our factory cams, valves, and retainers specs with their street and racing applications! Would really like to know how much lift, duration, centerline, etc,..is spec'd on their billet street cams. This may be one motor mod I would feel comfortable tackling over the weekend on my NA j30.

I am going to get them as soon as they release. Wondering on valves, springs, and retainers now. Hopefully P2R releases the rest of the vailve train to go with these. Super Pumped.
