They'd be a great donor headlight for a retrofit. Some LS430 or TL projectors would be ideal for that setup.

+1, maybe the OEM headlights would be better donors then.

The aftermarket ones would be pretty cool if you put more LEDs in the strip...R8 style. But they are the best looking aftermarket Accord headlights I've seen.

they need to double up on the LEDs.... in the dark that strip of LEDs wouldnt look very impressive.. it'd look more like a straight line with an out of place led in the middle, instead of a a nice, smooth contoured line.

they have the right idea though

guys its not the amount of LED, its the type of LED used

Audi uses an LED that cost $10 just to manufacture, they are super high intensity LED's

Add to that the fact that they come in a perfectly designed enclosure... compare that to the standard LED's those aftermarket headlights probably have

stupid question, can you order the same leds that are used on the newer audi's?

Usually, Quality on those lights really sucks. +1 for retrofit.

You pretty much get what you paid for.

those halos arent as bright as they look in the pics either. Cant see them in the day time, and at night the headlight overpowers them

There are chrome versions of these aftermarket headlights that look much better. The halos are advertised as CCFLs, so they should be pretty bright, tho, how reliable they are remains to be seen.
The LEDs are probably not of AUDI or hi-grade japanese LEDs like Prestige/Glitter ( though it might be that the LEDs are fine, the electronics to power them may go bad or cause the LEDs to burn out ).

These aftermarket headlights, imo, have a better looking interior-housing shape, but the lack of one reflector for each beam makes it so that any HID retrofit on these headlights would require the TL bi-xenon projectors.

My best bet would be to wait until these headlights fall to around $150 or less when they aren't so new. Cost/reward of doing a retrofit would be more justified. Seeing that CCFL/LED aftermarket headlights have been out for at least a decade now, the quality should be markedly improved over some of the previous aftermarket headlights that seem to be plagued with bad LED units. It wouldn't hurt to put in proper fuses/relays to prolong the life of the units too.
