Updated Full HFP Lip kit dilemma [NO MORE!! Lip kit installed] Pics inside

UPDATE: Kit already installed. Pics at Post #11.

Hello everone,

I have a white coupe, and I'm thinking on installing the full HFP Lip Kit. However, I love the shape of the stock front bumper, and despite the front lip looks great on other colors like charcoal gray, black, red, etc. It seems to me like the stock bumper looks better on white. Now, I love how the side skirts and rear lip looks on any color, but I don't know if installing only the side skirts and the rear lip, leaving the front bumper stock would look cheap or ghetto.

What do you guys think???

It'd look bad since the sides and rear would hang a lot lower than the front.

Too bad I don't have the exact same angles, but here are some with the front lip and without it. The one without it is my car, the other is a car at the dealership.

Well, I purchased the full body kit from the local dealer where I bought my car from. Its already there and it will be installed tomorrow morning, when I also get the car there for its first maintenance work.

=)

For future reference, that's a lip kit. When you mention "full body kit", especially on this forum, people usually assume Fast and the Furious-styled kits made of fiberglass with horrible fitment issues.

Nice pickup though, the kit should add a nice touch to your coupe.

hehe, thanks a lot for clarifying and sorry for the confusion. I should've said I was talking about the HFP Lip Kit from the beginning.

Congrats on getting the HFP Kit ... It really looks great on white coupes. I made sure they installed mine as soon as they could after I bought my car.

Unfortunately, I can't drop it.

I had a back surgery on December, that's the reason why I sold my 7th Gen 6spd (The surgeon told me I should stop driving manual transmission), and I can't drive a stiffer ride. IMO, the stock 8th gen V6 coupe is pretty stiff, but I should not drop it because of the stiffer ride.

About the tinted windows, I think I will tint it. I will update the pictures once I get that done.

DrockNJ, I'm sorry it took so long for me to reply. I've been busy and I was not around the forum for the last couple of months.

The total cost I paid for the HFP Lip Kit + installation was $1,118.00:

Full lip kit: $998.00
Installation: $120.00

I talked with the salesman I bought the car from, he spoke with the sales manager and agreed to give me the price of the kit as if I bought it with the car. Before buying it, I called to the parts department myself and they said it was $1,300.00 + $120.00 installation, so I saved $302.00.

Looks great. Is it just me or the 4 white lines in the front bumper pocket kinda bugs me. If that part was completely black
