not too much, just got rid of a decently modded 01 Jetta, and not looking to go as far as i did with that.

i want to get rid of some of the Chrome.

thinking about the pre muffler thing that jimk did. i dont want to drop 1k on a system, but want it to make a little noiser, but not much.

i want to lower it a bit, and maybe space the rears out to be closer to flush with the wheel wells.

Go for it! $35. don't have a sound clip, but trust me, it sounds better. Plus, about 8 lbs. off. I have the HFP suspension and like it alot. Not the cheapest solution though.
Love the color and tint, looks great!
Congrats.

If you have the money, I would drop the car on some nice coilover and get 20'' TE37s.

I wish they made the grill on the sedan and coupe much more like the TL. The 08 Accord coupe has alot of promise, and perhaps the MMC will look better.

Slightly modified SeanG's accord.

The moonroof visor isn't my flavor...but the car looks really good from those angles. I really like that color too!

Oooooo...I dig that grill...a LOT. Inspire side-mirrors...not so much. I like 'em on the Sedan, but not at all on the Coupe.

I had my grill insert color-matched on my RSX and absolutely LOVED it. But I just don't like it on the Accord. I like the chrome touches--not TOO much bling as to be gaudy, and compliments the V-6 door handles quite nicely, in my opinion.

The TL mirrors might not go that much with this Accord. I just figured if I put the TL grille might as well try to acura-ize it (my wife has an 07TL, I've been brainwashed).

As for the color, I LOVE IT! I didn't think I would like this color on any car other than the RX-8, let alone the accord. I think it's because it is a deeper blue than a "brilliant" blue.

SeanG:
Which part of the acura grill do you not like? the Chrome surround area or the mesh/middle-bar section? I myself find the coupe OEM chrome-surround-area to be too thick and square.
I do like your idea of the HFP grille tho.

In Carbon Grey Metallic

It kind of looks a bit Mazda-ish, but alot of the JDM Honda vehicles have this shape insert.

first, it looks like an acura wannabe thing, which i cant stand that.
second, i dont see myself doing the bodywork required for that.

that HFP grill could be a reality one day.
i really like it.

The Acura grill doesn't flow well with the boxy lines on the 8th gen. The current grill looks fine, just a little more pronounced on the sides.

That looks really good, making it dark made the grill look bigger but stand out less. I agree the chrome was a bit much.

If the HFP grille does come out, I'm wondering if it will have to be installed on a HFP bumper... which could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on what it ends up looking like.

Aftermarket companies didn't really embrace the previous generation Accord, but I hope that will change with the new model.

The MMC could also yield a different looking grill, but that wouldn't be for a while, so painting the OEM grill seems to be the best possible option.

JuztAJ, one thing you could try for kicks is buy an inexpensive roll of gloss or flat black vinyl sheet tape(around $6 on ebay) and cut out an approximate shape for the grille and use a hairdryer to soften/stretch to contour it. Honda designers use this method on their prototype models instead of painting it. It actually looks really clean and alot of times people can't tell that its even vinyl. It won't chip like paint does and the best part is if you end up not liking it you can just peel away

Here's what it looks like on my CR-V. I didn't do the grill area, but the entire front bumper is covered in gloss silver metallic vinyl.

most proably.. i went to get HID's and they had to take off the whole bumper.. so imagine if you have to replace a light!!

BTW the picture of the black accord up there looks nice with the clear side markers in the light instead of the orange.. i really liked that i just noticed now but what color would the light be at night?..
