Vintage NOS Mugen...

While having nothing to do with my 08 Accord, and since we're all Honda fans... I'd thought I would share some picts of the new old stock Mugen Variable Active suspension system that just came in for my prelude...

The Prelude:

Hey Schu, I also thought that suspension was more expensive than the car < ha ha>, but I assume you got it at a bargain price.

Talking about Preludes, I don't know why the hell I didn't buy the Prelude over the Accord Coupe in 1990. Can't remember, but I bet the wife had something to do with it. It's one of the best looking cars of the past IMO, and especially the '90/'91, with the revised front and back ends. The 4th gen was horrible, and the 5th gen tried to go back to the beautiful 3rd gen, but those headlights simply didn't do the car justice.
I later found out the 3rd gen Prelude out-slalomed EVERY car in the world, including the Vette, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc. Amazing. Wish I had bought it. Take care.

I had a '92 Prelude, 1st brand-new car I ever bought. I loved it.
That's a very clean car you have there Schu, is it an '87?
How many miles?

Thanks guys... the car is a second gen 1984 carb unit(year before EFI), successfully campaigned by the likes for king motor sports during that era(using Dual DCOE Weber's, which is what I am planning). Its a one family car, I got it form my uncle... the original owner. Right now it has about 130K on it, and that is only because I had to use it for a daily for a few years. While I dont remember the release, the guy who sold me the mugen units said the shocks originally sold for 3500$ in 1984 dollars, rest assured I paid less than that... but it was still a fair bit more than the HPD suspension Honda has sold for our 08's... and rightfully so.
