i'd scan the code and see what it reads. your car is under warranty so no big deal.

Sounds like the ecu flipped out and..forget the term but it keeps your car from reving above 3,000rpms and it stays in second gear

lol, probably a bad sensor making the car go in limp mode. i wouldn't blame the tranny just yet.

Yes it happened while i was driving . All gears are fine it shifts good . Now i got a call from the dealer today and the service advisor told me that they couldn't find the problem so they needed to call honda and speak to a honda tech. So they gave me a loaner till they fix my car.

Thats one thing i couldn't understand . Advisor said to me that mechanic put the scaner and it wouldn't give him no codes . Thats why they had to call Honda . It might be a recall something that no one has experience yet . I was the first lucky one with whatever the problem is.

No. But still that woun't be the problem neither the t/b spacer . It looks more like a malfuction sensor .

The only thing I can think of is a faulty sensor due to the intake delete. Hope that is not the case because if it is... the new sensor might come out of your pocket...

Got my car back today . According to the service advisor after two days looking for the problem he tells me that the problem was a sensor getting false reading do to the connector . I'm not buying that but the lights are off . Lets see how long does it last.

they might be right... it might have been the customers fault. ya ever thought about that? He did buy an 08 accord and than ripped the resonator out. He did install HIDs, probably didn't mount the ballast at all and didn't keep the wires tucked and clean that's why they noted it. Who knows what he could have done while doing that. However it is a shops security to take note of everything a customer has done to his or her vehicle. Especially when it comes down to warranty issues.

removing the resonator has nothing to do with it.. there is absolutly no wires connected to it, and exposed HID ballast wouldnt ruin a connector..

when a customer comes in for warranty related service, a shop will note any modifications a customer did as a safety precaution.

I never said removing the resonator will harm the car, not did i say the HID ballast would ruin a connector. I'm simply saying if the customer has the nerves to reach into his car and rip stuff out when its still under warranty, who knows what else he could have accidentally done during the time.
