Here's what Galpin Honda has in store.

Quote:
Honda exhibited a Honda Factory Performance Accord Coupe at last year’s SEMA show that came with a reduced ride height, a bodykit and 19 inch wheels but that was about it. It was still rather sedate and understated, which is actually what most people would want a classy D-segment coupe to be anyway.

This year there’s a more radical ride prepared by Galpin Honda, a Honda dealer in Los Angeles. The Galpin Accord Coupe features a flashy blue paintjob with a carbon fiber hood and a GT wing at the rear, as well as a really low ride height and huge wheels.

There seems to be some form of intercooler at the front but it might just be a fake one for show as part of the front bumper, because look at the size of those tiny brakes! For some odd reason the front brakes look like they’re stock standard but the rear gets small but crossdrilled discs (look at enlarged pics for detail).

Hmm...remove the stickers & wing, and you'd have a really really nice accord. Tempting.

Galpin is also the owner of GAS (Galpin Autosports) the same guys who who do the work and along with Xhibit, bring you your daily dose of Pimp my ride. The Accord definitely look like it has been "pimped".

Although, those wheels are Effing sweet!

that wing will help keep the rear end down coming into a bank roval on a front end heavy car... i support the idea. I hope to see it on a road course instead of car show. Downsize the wheels, put some more meat on it, take off all the sponsorship stickers, and you got a nice ride.

get rid of wing, stickers. find a more subtle body kit and cans and it'll look better IMO

400 hp! take out the ice, put in a proper roll cage and some smaller, lighter wheels and you've got a bad-*ss track car! I like it but I'd like to see it developed for road-racing in the Speed GT or Koni-challenge series, not as a street car.
