Anyone take advantage of the interest rate from Honda

Hey Guys,

Has anyone taken advantage of the 1.9 % for 3 yrs or 3.9 for 5 yrs?

If so, were you required to purchase additional package ? Such as extended warranty or lojack or the reimbursement for your load in case of car getting stolen ?

that's bs.

bounce the deal off another dealership. I bet they give it to you without the extended warranty.

How much are they selling the 8th gen v6 coupe 6MT for? just curious...I know I could look it up but I'm interested in what people are actually paying for it. I've only seen only auto coupes here..which makes sense since I've only seen 1 other 7th gen 6MT around here...that's why they sell for so damn much money because they are so rare around here.

if its honda care, you can cancel it within 60 days or something like that and get a full refund.

not sure what the dealer could or would do in that case though.

3.9 for 5yrs is not that bad.........but my mom just purchased a 09 toyota RAV4 for 2.9 for 5yrs.we were at honda b4 that.....they were not giving any better deals than 3.9(on anything)i got a great deal on my 07 accord(1.7 for 60months back in 07)Honda needs to make some changes on their rates especially in this economy and those extra s*it like lowjack and other carp is worth less IMO

Just closed on a 6-6 navi for 28,292 @ 3.9% for 60 months, nothing extra, except for the stupid "auto guard" that they say is a paint protector but is really just an effen high quality wax job.

That's a good freakin' deal. I paid 27.5 for my 7th gen 6MT w/out navi. They don't deal around here - I've seen one other 6MT in 4 years. So the dealerships only get like 2 of them it seems a year and as such, they can keep the price high.

What bugs me the most is that the V6 autos came with the spoiler but the 6MT didn't...and I couldn't talk them into giving it to me. I guess they think since we get the 17" wheels that makes up for it, but I really wanted that spoiler. Oh well...8th gen looks sweet, everytime I see one I want one

Well if it makes you feel an better 28,292 was wrong, a miscommunication and me not paying attention, but i still got 3.9% for 60 months, just at 29,292 OTD.

When i started looking there were only 2 in the state of FL, and both had ivory interior, so i waited and got my second color choice(PMM) and black with navi.

Well, you got a navi system - I didn't. So it doesn't make me feel better

I paid $27.5 w/out navi - and like you, there were no 6MT's in the state. They had to trade with a dealer in Ohio to get me a 7th Gen NBP 6MT Coupe. And it still pisses me off that all the autos came standard with a spoiler, but the 6MT's did not. I guess they figured since we got the 17" wheels we didn't "deserve" the spoilers..those bastards!

Next they will scare you with the service lamp on your dash board and list of 40 things they need to check which will usually run you something between $250-$400 just so that they can tell you THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR CAR! NO SH!T THAT'S WHAT I BOUGHT A HONDA!!! I was a victim of this scam for roughly 2 years...

I haven't pulled the trigger on an accord yet. I'm trying to see if it makes sense for me.

3.9 for 5 years doesn't seem too bad either though.

I skipped the interest rate and bought used.

Think about it...what is the biggest "status symbol"? A fancy, pretty new car.

What is the worst investment..a new car.

Kinda weird huh!

I thought for 1 sec about the "ok" interest rate. 3.9% is medicre based on others out there.

I bought my 2009 on Saturday. 4.7% interest.

2008 Blue/Black coupe 6-6 with 18K miles. $20,501. What an absolute STEAL!
