Im not an owner, but my mom had an 04 EX V6 w/nav and now she has an 08 EX V6 w/nav. I can share a few of my own opinions on this topic. This is for the sedan.
-Much more luxurious.
-Interior, specifically the backseats, is more comfortable
-Dash has a very upscale appearance/feel
-Faster then the 3.0, much easier to overtake cars on the highway
-Its ****ing huge
-Rear end is a bit "meh"
My sister has an 05 LX coupe and my brother has an 08 V6/6 coupe.
-Faster (compared to the 7G 6/6.)
-Backseat is surprisingly roomy
-Visibility sucks, the C-pillars are huge
-Its still a bit big for my tastes
-That weatherstripping poking out from the front of the hood kills the look
Some may say the dash has alot of buttons on the 8th gen. I dont think so. They are just in the wrong place (IIRC they moved some of the buttons on the 2010 models). My 56yr old mom got used to them rather quickly. If she can get used to them, anyone can.
Personally, I wouldnt get an 8th gen. If I had the option, Id get an pre-mmc 7th gen sedan and do a 6MT swap along with a motor build. The interior on the 8th gen is excellent, but the 7th gen interior isnt too bad either (comparing navi models that is). Sadly, road noise is pretty much the same.

Went from a '04 6mt to a '08 6mt. Ya, its BIGGER. Suspension seems a little stiffer. Mileage is definitely worse. Mostly all city driving and I could squeeze out 23-24 mpg on the '04. I'm lucky to get 21-22 on the '08. OK, I do like the bigger engine with more torque though, so its a trade off.
