gen8 sexy retrofit

Helped my friend Robert do a retrofit on his gen8. Took me about 6hr from start to finish. I am very impressed with his choose of shrouds. First time doing a gen8. So I didn't know what to expect. All and all it was a good day.

So just to give you an idea here what the headlights look like. Apollo shrouds are FTW. Also my suggestion is to get the premium shrouds and not the value. He bought the value and they were really imperfect. I had to work some magic around that.

Anyways enjoy.

projectors were super tweaked morimoto. You can see some of the cut off at the very end of the building. Thats how you do alignment. not the stupid 25ft wall crap. Good at 25ft bad at 100 ft. shines over 3 stories

So it looks like the Morimoto has a nice cutoff, but I don't see a lot of light on the road...not like the more-heralded projectors. I guess that's the clear difference that people miss out on when buying the cheaper stuff.

Retrofit looks nice, not a fan of the shrouds but they work well with that big headlight housing.

Can you please elaborate on how you aimed the headlights?

Not too bad looking at all. Would like to see some more clear/better pics of the cutoff though.
