Going to pick up 2012 Accord (LX or EX) is it worth it?

I've owned many generation of Accords before and am in a position to buy the 2012 Accord. I have done research and feel like the EX has the basics as to what I want. I have read last production before a redesign to be reliable. Now I'm a bit confused after googling the new model, is there a redesign coming into play? Is it slated for 2013 model? Honda's site stills show the old 8th gen body.

I guess my question is, would higher trims equate to higher quality? Or just more functions and options?

I currently have a 2005 LX.

The EX has more seat adjustmet options, and a moon roof which I would prefer to have.

One thing though, where are the RIM OPTIONS? The OEM rims are disgusting!

Curious as to how much people are paying out the door.

They just released the MMC(changed the front grille and rear end a bit) of the 8th gen in '11, so I'd say the 9th gen won't be around til '13 at the earliest but more like '14 or '15.

Eh, might still be a bit early for the '12s, I'd say another couple months, but they are going to be exactly the same as the '11s.

This i mean. does the rear look like this? The dealer said it won't change, but not sure if they are legit.

If I was you, I would rather wait for the next GEN or get a TSX

^^ This. Wait till the 2013 model comes out. They'll most likely bring out the 9th gen accord during that year or the TSX. If the new 9th gen looks ugly when it comes out, score an 8th gen for cheap since dealers will most likely be trying to get rid of them.

i say just get the V6 since you would get about the same gas mileage as a 4cylinder would... the V6 has an eco mode that turns off 2 cylinders when you drive at a steady speed..

I was reading how the TSX will now be replaced by the RLX or whatever. I don't know what's up w/ ACURA, but the TSX was looking nice and decent. NOt sure why they didn't build it further. It was a nice medium between an accord EX and TL lol.

My experience w/ 6 cyinders have always been bad. Over time, trying to do something like a valve gasket change is just headache.

I would like something of at least 200HP though.
