VTEC Sound and Kick

I recently purchased an 11' 6+6. After driving the vehicle for a while I just cannot seem to feel when the Vtec kicks in. It's no where near as cool as my prelude I used to own. My question is, will I feel and hear the Vtec better when I install a CAI, PCD's, J-pipe and exhaust? I miss feeling that transition.

The v6 doesn't have that random OMFG kick. The power is very linear so won't feel that transition. You would probably hear it though

Pretty sure you 11'6-6 is outrunning that H22, unless you had a lot of work done to it.

Your definitely right about that. The Prelude was fun but doesn't compare to the acceleration of the accord

I haven't seen an elegant boosted setup for the Js yet. Maybe gerzands build will end up magical. Everything else seems hacked together.

With that said, boosted J series would be a highway monster. I wouldn't trade the throttle response for autocross or curves and the fwd grip ruins 1/4 for me...but the freeway would be scary with 400+ whp.

400whp FWD car would be okay at the track..1/4mile. You just need to set the chassis up right and have good tires. Check the thread that was just posted of a J32 EG. He hooked very well
