just need some options need some help

i currently have two 12" Kicker Solo-Baric L5's (they are about 3 yrs old) but they do the work. However, about 2 years ago, i decided to downgrade to just one sub and was carrying a hifonic amp. Sadly to say, this is my 2nd amp i use for my sub, both hifonics, and both are now dead. This last amp lasted me for close to two years, which is pretty good, from what my local shops have told me. But the question now is, should i go with another hifonic or what other amp is good to carry this 12" Solo-Baric???

i will greatly appreciate if you guys PM, hehe i tend to just check the 7th gen forums, so knowing myself, i will forget i posted this thread! THANKS A BUNCH GUYS!

well since youve already gone through 2 hifonics amp i wouldnt suggest that. ive gone through quite a few sub setups for the past 5 years and ive always had the same amp--jl 500/1. you get what you pay for.i would suggest a kicker amp off ebay. theyre priced well on ebay and theyre quality is pretty good, alot better than hifonics.

the amp i had was a hifonic(titan)-1000w D-Class...

a 750amp kicker should be more than enough still right for one 12" L5

under $200. I live in los angeles, in downtown, there is street where all they sell is audio stuff and with cash i can negotiate prices,

so from what u just show me i dont need a 1000w amp, at least 600amp will do. even better, much cheaper for me. =)

that ones a goood one, mono, 750watts rms, it be a lil higher bc they always underrate their amps. yeah your sub handles 600watts rms so pairing it up with a 600 watt rms amp would be ideal but it wouldnt hurt to run 750 , just dont turn the gain all the way up and your set. hope you find what your looking for, gl
