I'm installing mine now.....what trim bezel did you use. It looks like the one that came in the box is useless.

Back on topic:
599 is cheaper than employee pricing at best buy....hell of a deal.

$475 is how much companies get it for.

it's not that the D3 sucks, they're simply making room for their newer models. Pioneer has a monopoly on navi systems, so they can afford to get rid of their older models at those prices, because people will still buy them... that's my guess haha

I think there is a $200 mail-in rebate on the model. You can call or make sure it's valid with the Amazon purchase. The rebate link is below:

^No way. Install is easy, most shops charge around 100 for that anyway. You're really paying an extra 170 there for a wiring harness and dash kit

yea well i need to make a custom box cuz i have a 7th gen accord =T the extra $170 for a custom box isnt that bad then no?

ahh ok i just called al and ed's.. they're actuallygiving me the D3X package.. which includes bluetooth adapter, ipod cable, and the wireless remote...

so i guess 800 for all that isn't such a bad deal haha~
