CD Player Problems

Alright. I've been having constant problems with CD players for my car.

I currently have an Aiwa CDC-X227. I picked it up for the Aux input for the most part since my Sony didn't have one. Plus my sony always errored out when reading cds.

Well. This one seems to also be having problems with CDs. It will read the CD but if I hit even the littlest bump, the cd will skip. To the point where I can't even listen to a CD on the highway. I don't use CDs much, but on occasion I like to throw one in over fiddling with my MP3 player.

On top of this, the radio doesn't work at all.

The Mp3 player/aux input works perfect though with no problems at all.

Any advice on this pain in the ass?

when buying a head unit you just have to make sure it has like 1 6 second anti skip feature or something along those lines. Just because they have an anti skip, it doesnt say how long it scans ahead of the cd.

To my knowledge and experience. Aiwa is junk. I would sell it for whatever you can and get something a little more expensive.
