2003 Accord Coupe 6mt SMR/Ivory Phoenix, AZ Area

Year: 2003
Make: Honda
Model: Accord
Engine: 3.0L V6
Transmission: 6spd manual
Color: San Marino Red
Interior: Ivory Leather
Current Mileage: 103,600
Asking Price: $9500 obo
Location: Phoenix Metro Area

I honestly thought I'd keep this car forever, but with a baby on the way I'm forced to sell to purchase a 4 door vehicle.

I purchased this car as a Certified Honda with 34,000 miles in August of 2007 from Arrowhead Honda in Peoria. The car currently has 103,600 miles on it. I just spent $1,000 (have receipt) at Showcase Honda in Phoenix performing the 105,000 recommended Honda Service including replacing the timing belt, timing belt tensioner, water pump and drive belt.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
AEM V2 Cold Air Intake
UR Underdrive Pulley
J-SHIFT J-Pipe
J-SHIFT Test-Pipe
Custom Bent Exhaust Piping
'03 Acura CL-S Mufflers
'05-'06 MDX Intake Manifold Spacer
Ingalls Stiffy Engine Torque Damper
Comptech Short Shifter
Corsport Aluminum Shift Bushings

Suspension Modifications:
Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs
(HFP) Honda Factory Performance Shocks
Ingalls Rear Camber Kit
17mm TL Rear Sway Bar
Centric Drilled Rotors
Centric Posi-Quiet Pads

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
18"x8" Hyper Gray Konig Runaway Wheels
245/40/18 Falken ZE-512 Tires
Black Honda -H- Center Caps

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
USASpec iPod Connector
NRG Carbon Fiber Shift Knob
Retro Solutions Bi-Xenon Retrofit Headlights
Eagle Eyes LED Taillights
Satin Black Painted Lower Rear Bumper

The car does have some blemishes that should be noted. There are rock chips on the front of the hood and bumper that are expected with this mileage, as well as some slight paint blistering on the back bumper. There are small dings and scratches from inconsiderate parking lot drivers and a small dent on the hood from a piece of road debris. The drivers seat has some tears in the leather, but otherwise the interior is in great shape. The drivers door lock acuator is also broken but can be fixed fairly easily. It's never been in any accidents. I can provide a VIN # upon request to check CarFax to confirm.

Sorry you have to sell! I've always admired your ride. What sedan are you looking to get?

GLWS!

Thanks man! I know I could squeeze a baby seat in it, but it would be a pain each and everytime, so a 4 door would be much more benefitial.

I'm thinking something compeletely impractical. Pontiac G8 GT. But I'm not ruling out a 3rd Gen Acura TL or an Infinity G35.

^ Well impractical MPG-wise, although I've read some get better mileage than the factory ratings.

And thanks! Have a guy coming to look at it tonight. Keeping my fingers crossed he doesn't low-ball me.

I love the G8. Chevy is bringing back some version of it you should be ok parts wise on the discontinued Pontiac. TL and G35 are other awesome sedans too. Can't go wrong with your selection. Don't sell your car too quickly for less than you are asking for!

Oh accordian I would love to purchase your accord. I love my 2003 accord V6 2dr auto but always wanted the 6MT. Maybe I will give my car to my brother and get the 6spd haha!

Thanks for all the nice comments about my car guys! And especially thanks Matt for that nice comment about becoming a father!!! I'll probably be emailing you with a bunch of questions about changing diapers bro!

The Accord has been an absolute blast to own and it's been a pleasure getting to know a lot of you on V6P. No joke only a week ago I didn't even forsee selling it, but after dropping $1,000 on it and knowing it'll be a struggle fitting a baby seat in it, it's time to move onto something a little bigger.

I've gotten a ton of interest from craigslist already and have a guy coming to look at it tonight. I've had two people offer me $9000 cash without even seeing it yet, but gotta give the first guy dibs since he was the first to email me. He said he's coming with cash in hand as well, so we'll see. I won't take anything less than $9000 for it so hopefully I'll get full asking price since it's gotten so much interest.

Hope to post a thread with an update on a new car soon!

SOLD!!!! Locally to a really good dude that promised to appreciate it as much as I did. It was a hard to say goodbye to her, but she's got a new home and will hopefully treat her new owner well. It was bitter sweet hearing that exhaust note driving down the street without me behind the wheel.

So the search for a new ride continues. No G8 GTs anywhere in the Phoenix area for sale. The CTS-V is a nice car but out of my price range and the ones that are in it have way too many miles.

I test drove a Mazdaspeed3 today and liked it a lot, but I didn't pull the trigger on it. Not 100% sure what I'm going to get yet.

07-08 Acura TL-S 6MT or G35/G37 Sedan? Even a 06-07 Accord V6 Sedan 6MT?
