[SOLD]: 98-02 Tein Basics $550 + ship

SOLD

Pulled these off recently, car is going back to stock since I upgraded

Will come fully assembled so you can swap them out easily, or if you're so inclined you can pay a shop to put them in, and it will be much cheaper since they will not have to disassemble the stock springs/shocks to re-use the upper spring perch. Tons of people have these, and I have had a few locals in the car in the past who can attest to the ride quality. Drop can go from what looks to be about an inch lower than stock to tucking tire, I had them set about 3/4 of an inch to an inch above bottom. More aggresive looks, an improvement in handling, but no noticeable comprimise in ride quality. To quote a friend, "I'd even let my grandma ride in your car... Just not with you driving" Coilovers have (I think) 15,000 miles on them, but no track or auto-x time. They were on the car up until a few weeks ago, and I had no issues with them. I am the first owner, and still have the adjuster wrenches which will be included. I don't have the stickers any more, sorry.

Anyway, I'd like $550 +shipping. Suspension is located in Santa Barbara CA (93117) and I can bring them down to Orange County on a weekend for a serious buyer. They are hefty (although lighter than the stock stuff), I don't anticipate shipping being cheap, but I can weigh them and get a quote for someone seriously interested. You can PM me here, email me at [email protected], or call me at 949-322-8356. I've been on this forum for a long time, and most of the older socal people can vouch for me.

Hope Kevin gets these. I told him he'd be happy with the Basics and they popped up haha. Good stuff.

They ride quite well. A little stiffer than stock but they are very soft and well dampened.

That is correct, you would not need struts. the most you'd need would be a camber kit, depending on how low you wanted to go/if you cared. but these will work just fine as is. Don't even have to disassemble your stock stuff! haha

still fs. any takers?
