It is a protective 80mil film on your headlights that will not yellow or reduce output. Protects from chips, pitting and possible damage from cracks due to rocks, etc.

I was checking on those StonGard's and I was wondering do they make them for Hondas? You dont list them as an application nor does the link. I own a 02 Civic Si and was thinking about doing that before I do get some chips.

I have OEM fogs on my 2001 AV6...

I would love to get a HID kit that would satisfy the fogs as well as headlamps.

So can you get HID for my fogs as well?... the bulb is a H11

Nope. We only have HIDs for your fogs if they take H3.

I wasnt aware that Honda used H11 for their fogs....

How many Lumens does your 4500k kit produce? How about the 5500k kit?

im interested in getting HID's but I dont want to have a greenish color on the output..I want pure white.

which one is the best??

thanks...

greenish?? you shouldnt get that unless you get those 7500+K kits.

Our kits generate 3200 lumens for the 4500K kit and approx. 2600 lumens for the 5500K. I stronly suggest the 4500K for best performance and output.

These are confirmed numbers. Many other HID sellers just throw numbers around and are not accurate.

i don't know, i saw the 6000k and they look alright in the pic, but i guess it can be deceiving. i've seen some accords with the pure white hid's and they look nasty. just don't want the same nasty looking lights i guess.

liteswap,
I just placed an order for the catz 4500K 9005/9006 HID package. I look forward to getting it in the mail soon, but I was curious as to whether or not I would be receiving a tracking number or not? Also, it didn't say anywhere in the checkout about the free stronguard, will it be included in my package automatically from my login information that says my make and model of car? Thanks

vog, the free stongard offer is not valid with the AV6 discount. It is one or the other. You can however place another order and get 10% off the StonGard.

You can track your order by clicking on the "Order Status" link on our website. It should ship tomorrow.

Evo, what kits were they? There are many out there claiming "pure white", "bright as sunshine", "BMW-like", etc etc...

Our kits installed give a bright white with the slightest blue. Also, keep in mind that over time, HID colorshifts and the K value rises.

Here are a couple pictures of our pure white kit in an Accord:

i wouldn't know which kit they are. it's just a white with no hint of blue or purple or anything, and it looks nasty. it was on my ex's car so i guess i'm sorta bias towards it, and just not looking forward to having my car resemble her's in any shape of form

As far as relays are concerned, Catz kits do not require them. The reason being that the ballasts were specially designed with a series of thin film resistors to maintain proper operating parameters. For more detailed information, please visit

http://www.liteswap.com/Merchant2/me...ode=difference

"The Catz HID kits are a series circuit design. The igniter and ballast manufacturer (Matsu****a) developed an interesting series of film capacitors to deal increased current draw. EPCOS developed the MKT, MFT, and MKN capacitors for advanced automotive lighting. The initial start-up is the most current consuming aspect of the HID conversion. Upon ignition, the system should draw less that 15 amps. When the igniter shuts off, usually 3-5 seconds after ignition, the ballast provides a secondary voltage to sustain the arc."

I would not recommend 5500K. Youre losing a lot of light output and in my opinion it is too blue. REmember that all HID colorshifts over time..
