TW: Function Form Type II Coilovers 10k/6k : 98-02 Accord V6

Here we go~

I've used these for a couple of months now and they still perform as well as the day I've received them.

I've put around a couple thousand miles on them.

Reason for selling: MIGHT Getting a new coilover setup.. One hint is that I owned these bad boys before, except these new ones will be A LOT stiffer.

Obviously I won't have pictures up since .. they're still on my car. Just trying to see who is serious to purchase them. I'll let them go for around $500 picked up in the 626 socal

lol no coilover setup has upper adjustable camber plates for our car, which sucks, but oh well. After looking it up, I believe mine are 10/6, but I may be wrong. Oh well, you can always call F2.

If you're on full soft.. it feels amaaaazing, but it's been a while since I've put it on soft though. Obviously stiffer than Teins.

^ Most likely. Teins aren't known for being stiff unless you get their race line.

^Yeah, or Tein FLEX.

Oh and if you're local, we can meet up and install it on the day you pick them up. (:

Since it's so easy and I wanna use my new tool box. xD

What're you getting instead? JIC?

Tein Flex coilovers aren't even known for being stiff. I called them them up and asked what the difference between the Flex and SS are and they told me the only difference is that the Flex are valved more aggressive and have a separate height adjustment mount, along with having stiffer springs. Internally, essentially they are the same coilover. Both are twin tube designs. If you get Tein MonoFlex (formerly known as RE) then you start dipping into some stiff shiet.

And about the camber plates. They only come on Macpherson struts, which our cars do not have. Luckily we have double wishbone, or double A arm suspension. The camber plates on Macpherson struts work, but they are really a gimic to get you to buy them lol. The way Macpherson struts work is not the same as our cars, so when the car dips and rolls, it doesn't actually camber in more when compressed. Our cars do, so it's better for dumping your car along with handling. In my opinion the double wishbone is the best suspension setup to have on a car.

There's a site that sells the ZEALS for the Accord 98-02, but 2k price tag.

I'm heading towards AMR, because of the lifetime warranty. Stick with them for a long time.

I dont think anyone wants to dumb $2,000 into an Accord suspension.. you can get the same or better quality for half that.
