VAFC and Frog harness, ready to plug and play

I bought this today, and have been reading around that unless you're really going to get it dyno tuned, the VAFC doesnt serve much a purpose. Beats me, I was going to get an air fuel gauge but self tuning probably wont do much good. I'm really afraid to mess something up.

I'm open to offers on this, I bought it off of v6 a c c o r d, for those paying attention. Looks pretty new, the Frog harness is all set and ready to go, looks like a really easy install job if you can unplug the old ECU connectors.

heres a picture of everything it comes with. I will ship or do local, let me know what you guys are offering

people remember this only works for a certain year to year. I think this was from a 98-99 if I remember correctly. The wiring on the 00-02 is differant. So please check before you purchase it.

From the picture it is the 00-02 version (the green wire goes to connector A). I'm 95% sure the 00-02 Accord V6 version will also work on the 98-99 Accord V6. The 98-99 Accord V6 version will not work on the 00-02 Accord V6.

Yeah i got this off him. He said it was never installed in his car.

The thing looks pretty new to me, well judge from the picture. As said in his original thread, I paid 250 for what you see in the picture.

I spent about an hour driving over there so factor that in and whatever shipping costs and insurance/delivery confirmation there is to it. Make offers here, I see there are alot of people interested but I am not sure how to 'pick' who gets it or what.

Originally I was going to use it for maybe leaning out my fuel but I heard that if you dont know how to tune it, dont use it. I have no interests to dyno tune it either and supposedly that's the way to go.

you bought this off of V 6 A C C O R D? you must have just gotten it a week or so ago, and your selling it already?? hmmmmm interesting.......

and nobody is going to factor in your travel time

BTW: Sell it to whomever asked first OR sell it to whomever puts the money up

Correction, I bought this YESTERDAY night. and am offering it to you guys. I'm not looking to sell it off for a hundred bucks more than I bought it for, the fact of the matter is that v6 a c c o r d refused to ship it, and basically I took the time and risk of buying it.

I had original intentions of self tuning this myself because i've been getting black smoke on my OEM rear lip above my exhaust, which means i'm probably running rich for some odd reason.

Other people however have said not to self tune, and that the VAFC is basically risky and useless and even makes the car feel slower on VTEC, so i eventually became uneasy about hooking this thing up.

Anyhow, it still remains that any price around 250 for both the vafc AND frog harness is a REALLY good deal, especially since the frog harness is quite hard to come by for a decent price without a group buy.

I'd like to cap this off at 300. I dont want higher offers. I didnt buy the VAFC to make a buck off someone(a little profit would be nice, hence the 300), but to buy it so other people who really need these somewhat "rare" frog harnesses can use it.

$300 shipped, plus three of those little clips that hold your side pillars into place I broke em on mine and could use new ones.

That includes USPS to anywhere in the US, delivery confirmation, and insurance. That will be around 10-$15 dollars probably, so 285 for this thing is still a pretty good deal.

Remember that I have never installed this thing, and neither has v6 a c c o r d. I dont know if this works or doesnt work or how to use it, and what you see in that picture is what you get.
