GB: TPM Racing Brakes

Guys and Gals,

Here's your opportunity to take advantage of a GREAT DEAL on an upgraded Brake Package. V6Performance is holding an opening sale for the distribution of these GREAT rotors. Check out a few of the key features:

- Cross-drilled to improve heat dissipation by increasing airflow and surface area.
- Slotted which vents gasses and keeps pads clean. This improves pedal response and reduces brake fade.
- All braking surfaces are properly cross-hatched after the rotor is finished to allow 'bedding' of the pads.
- All rotors are finished in black by our EDP (Electro-Deposition Paint) process that complements high performance wheels and is the best solution for corrosion resistance.

OK if you would like to read up more I won't bore you... Their homepage is www.racingbrake.com

These are direct OE replacements.
Use them with any 'premium semi metallic' pad for very good street performance. Under normal use they are guaranteed not to crack or warp. Yes we get to determine what is 'normal'....sorry about that.

We have plenty of other applications as well - PM for details.

just 2 quick question.....1) i thought cross drilled was bad for warping? and 2) is this just for rotors or rotors & pads?

If pads don't come with this, what pads should you use with them?

Don't larger diameter rotors require a new caliper, or at least a new mounting bracket??

Toby i have a few questions for you guys..
1. What kind of braking performance are we looking at over OEM??
2. The price is very reasonable but hows the quality and is there any warrenty over warping them ?
3. Has anyone on the V6p team tried them out on their cars and what pads did they use ?
Many AV6ers are looking for reasonable braking improvements at a justified price and so far this looks pretty good
I just checked and this place is less then an hour away off 287.
BTW where would we send a money orders??
Russ

Thank you very much for that Francis!

OK, for the rest of you...

- Rotors are STOCK REPLACEMENTS (meaning stock sized)
- Price is for ROTORS ONLY, I am looking into pads
- Crossdrilled is bad when done incorrectly or done on on rotors with POOR materials
- 2003 Coupes and Sedans are the same!
- Warranty.... I am not exactly sure, but I am sure that they will guarantee against warping and cracking
- Performance will not be as drastic as going to a BB set-up, but you will definately feel the difference. If these rotors were matched up with some good pads, it will be much more noticable.

The address should read:

TPM Rotor Group Buy
c/o V6 Performance Network
P.O. Box 278286
Sacramento, CA 95827-8286

You could get the rotors for the DISC BRAKE car, but you would be the one responsible for ALL OF THE REST of the pieces to complete the swap. This would include calipers, caliper hangers, lines, e-brake cables, master cylinder, and control arms if necessary.

Just to get this cleared up, is the 6 speed included with these prices or would they be more money? The 03-04 AV6 6 speed's have larger front rotors than the auto AV6 models.
