I can flex on the price...my friend who's been doing retrofits for about 3 years now helped me, and thats what he suggested pricing them at.

A pair sold on ebay for 420 just the headlight and projector without HID kit. Just to give you guys ideas.

I'm free to negotiating!

WRONG.

It came with the d2s 4100k bulbs too. Re-read the description. Also I might add, it was new. All you would need is the ballasts and harness, and you would be set for way under $850.

Projector Retrofit w/ Bulbs - $420
Ballasts / Harness - $250

Total $670

(of course this does not include shipping, but you get the idea)

If I was you, I'd sell them separately on ebay or here. You will get more $$

Did you purchase those headlights or something? LOL, I didn't notice the bulbs, only because it was buy it now. And his look not to be OEM headlights.

I used illusion prices...and like I said...I'm up for negotiating.

No I saw the auction on the weekend, and was very interested in it. Problem is I'm doing a bixenon retrofit myself already. Anyhow, the price I think was $418 or $419 buyitnow w/bulbs.

wow a whole dollar.

also

I'm curious,

When you did you projectors, did you use your existing adjustment screws or did you make your own.

Oh, another thing. I tried to give mine a stock feel (i dont know how many actually appreciate that) which is what illusion lighting does as well. If you're retrofitting you know that painting black can easily hide any flaws, not that the ones on ebay had any. Just stating

I made them so that you use stock adjusters. Which means the projectors have to be aligned straight and bolted on. So it doesn't move. If you look on HondaSociety for syclone's page he shows how you bolt onto the rear of the housing, but you lose stock adjusters.

But like I said, stock adjusters are used for mine. I think using new adjusters is pretty ghetto...but each to his own.

Only reason I'm selling is I want to get another set and make another set, this is a great past time! And trying to make money on the side.

True.

But it looks even cleaner when you fabricate a piece that's fitted to the center piece with a jb weld. OEM chrome lights = badddddd glare. OEM clean retrofitted lights in black = teh seks!

Each to his own on that one. I fabricated a piece to cover stuff also. Mine only glare a tad on the front bezel. Blacking out like ricers will eliminate it. I had my friends drive behind me and the glare looks like a sparkle LOL.

EDIT: if done right, the chrome light wont glare. I have to move them up a tad more to clear the front chrome bezel and I promise you even stock chrome mine wouldnt glare.

What are you planning on using for your second set? bixenon? gun metal paint?

No bi-xenon. I'm going with the new audi headlights for Ecode cut off.

I actually originally had black matte engine paint, but I decided to give it a stock look, since my car is very much still stock.

I think I might black out my second set BUT retain the amber piece and black out the part BEHIND the amber piece, hopefully making the amber look darker?

Nah, if you're going for a darker amber, just by some tint spray or lightly black it out. If you black out the behind piece, you will get no reflection, and you won't see much of anything. Just stick to actual amber strip itself.

A buddy of mine did something sorta trick. He got some small letters made (black ones) and had the word accord in the amber strip. VERY HARD to do and look good

mine cut off better than those actually. Something is wrong with his cut off. The right side of the bend should be going UP...not down. I dont know why his are doing that.

Ants,

If you're indeed selling them for $420 including everything, I'll take them off your hands. Lol! Let me know. Thanks!

From the looks of the auction you do not get the HID with the lamps. You are bidding on the lamps themselves for $420.
