<<<<<FS: 03 Accord EX steering wheel>>>>>

i have a used 03 Accord steering wheel out of my 03 EX sedan, it had cruise control and audio controls on the steering wheel, the air bag has not been deployed. this is a good replacement for someone who has been in an accident and needs a new air bag.

selling this cause i upgraded my wheel to an s2000 wheel.

new air bags from honda goes for $1000 without the hazardous shipping fees. i am selling both items together and will not part out.

asking $500/obo shipped, if you don't like my price go to honda and buy a new one.

it all depends on your steering wheel hub size, i know that 03+ accords have the same hub size as s2k, EK, and 97+ preludes. i'm like 95% positive that this would fit your year accord. lmk thanks!

I'm curious as to where you got your information that an 03+ steering wheel & airbag will fit a 98-02 accord. I was under the impression the 98-00 accords are a bit different from the 01-02s.

look for a quick release short hub and it will tell you what wheels have the same "steering wheel shaft size", i had an EK short hub on my 03 and that also fits 98+ accords and 97+ preludes, also, the s2k, EP3, 01+ civic. don't worry, i'm not gonna sell bunk ****, thats not why i'm here.

heres how an s2k wheel fits on an 01+ civic.:

and for the EP3 wheel:

and heres the EP3 wheel in a 98+ accord:

thanks to the guy above thats selling the EP wheel that is in his accord..

does that prove my point now? thanks haha...

No, it doesn't resolve my concerns. I'm not too worried about the actual steering wheel fitting, it's been done before so I know it's possible. I'm worried about the single-stage/dual-stage problems someone might run into when connecting the airbag. From what I could find out from searching on this forum, 98-00 accords were single-stage while the 01-02 accords were dual-stage.

Also, the EP3 wheel seems to be a dual-stage. So I'm not sure how the person with the accord wired it up exactly, but from what I can tell here (http://www.jdmcoupecouncil.com/forum...ead.php?t=6261) it doesn't sound like plug & play to say the least.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, I would really just like to see these issues answered by anyone knowledgeable. I'd hate to spend the extra $450 on the airbag (compared to the prices you can find for the steering wheel alone) & have to install it without connecting it, or attempt to rewire the airbag downgrading it from 2-stage to 1-stage to fit my vehicle.

The accord with the EP3 steering wheel/airbag that you used to "prove your point"...here's his response when asked how he managed to get around the single-stage/dual-stage airbag issue:
