NEX SS Coilovers

I've got a set of NEX SS Coilovers from my 99 Accord Coupe (Street version not Race) for sale. They have been sitting in storage and I've decided not to install them again and stay with an OEM suspension.

Fits the following cars
- all 6th Gen Accords (98-02); coupe / sedan, i4 / v6
- Acura TL 99-03
- Acura CL 01-03

I had the coils on for about a year and about 30k (19k Miles) on them. I'm currently cleaning the threads as there is dirt / clay caked on it and I'll post a more recent photo when it's clean.

- lowers the car close to 4" in the front and close to 5" in the back so you can basically slam it down to the ground
- the current setup leaves about a 1.5 - 2 finger gap that was setup for winter driving when I removed it 2 years ago
- the springs and perch adjust independently so you can lower the car without changing the spring rate
- the suspension height and spring rate adjustable not damper adjustable
- the lowest I had it was 0 - 0.5 finger gap and I never once scraped over speed bumps or curbs
- original packaging and tools included

Here is a pic of the coils when I got them new. They are of course not as clean now...

Asking $400 firm.

Sale is pending multiple offers and multiple buyers. Please feel free to post questions but use PM for offers, etc. Thanks to all the patient buyers in line.

What does that mean?

Sorry for the confusion... 30,000 KMs or about 19,000 Miles

I'll check to find out. I wrote them down at one point but I've forgotten. They are definitely on the stiff side and they would have to be since they have the ability to be slammed. They are not as harsh as the race version or the race spec Teins but somewhere in between. Stiffer than Tein SS at it's most stiff settings and lowest height.

I originally pulled these off when my wife was pregnant and was complaining... now with the second one on the way and a 17 month old, the Accord is our daily driver and the family needs it to ride like stock OEM. I have an NSX that I can mod till the cows come home.

Woo NSX. Wish I had the money now to take these off your hands. If they don't sell quickly maybe I can take them off your hands.

Thanks! I'm quite surprised by all the response! I already have a line up of buyers. Of course some will fall through as always, but I know there is a good buyer out there that will enjoy these.

Thanks! My baby girl loves the OEM ride!

PM me and I'll keep you on the short list. There are several buyers right now but they may fall through. Some usually do so it's not out of the question. PM me and I'll keep you in the loop on the buying status.

There is no warranty on these. The original NEX coils with the Red or Blue springs (I can't remember) had a defect and leaked. These series 2 corrected this and have black springs.

When I first installed these I thought I heard a slight rattling sound but never really bothered. When I uninstalled them, I realized that one of the rear springs broke (which is extremely rare).

It broke at the bottom near the seat so it actually didn't noticeably affect the ride at all. The size of the piece that broke is about 200 degrees of the first bottom coil. i.e. the piece was at the beginning of the spring and it stayed in place because the springs compressed and just held it there.

I've got a replacement spring from NEX and when I'm done cleaning the threads, I'll pop it on.
