The inside of the shock absorber is stripped. The place for the allen wrench. It's useless

I stripped the inside of a stock strut like that. So I used a grinder and notced a slot on the top of it, and used a flathead screwdriver to unbolt the top hat and release the spring.

Definitley not useless, and he'd probably make more money selling them as a set.
