BTW...I know that this application works with 6th Gen Accord. Also...looks like it fits 7th Gen and Integra as well.

The setup I have with my Tein SS-P's was made for that application but works with my CL.

^ Don't know...

Some people thought you could install EDFC on Basics and others thought you could upgrade SS.

Honestly all I knew was that you could install on SS-P.

Learned something in the process.

Well...to clear everything up.

Another member on another forum did some research which was very nice of him.

Wanted to also share the email sent back from Tien...

Thank you for your interest in TEIN High Performance Suspension products.

Unfortunately the size of the piston shaft is not the same between the SS and SS-P applications.

Therefore, the Pillowball Upper Mount is not able to be installed onto the Super Street dampers.

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know.

Best Regards,

Adam Hollingshead

Sounds logical to me.

Sorry I am not willing to do a test fit because I want to keep everything is good condition.

But look at the application list from Tien.

You will see towards the bottom where I highlighted 6th Gen Accord.

Look just above that and you will see that this same kit is set up for 7th Gen Accord as well.

The numbers from your box and the highlighted EDFC p/n are not the same...? Box says: EDK04-K4469.

I have a 98 cavalier with the SS-P coilovers installed. I want to get the EDFC kit, but they are different part numbers for the motor kit. Will your controller kit work on this application?

No...that's right.

It's the part number of the Controller...which I believe are mostly universal.

The motor kit is different for different cars because of size and corresponding Tien coilovers.

Contents of EDFC Controller Kit; Part Number EDK04-K4469

However, looking at the Cavalier...

EDK05-12140 EDK06-K4474

http://www.tein.com/price/chevrolet.html

It looks to have one of the same components...maybe the motor kit.

I'll send them an email to verify fitment.
