7th CF hood

sup guys, i just got this hood from a member last saturday. i really like the way it looks on my car but i like the look of oem hood better. so i am putting it up for sale.

$220 OBO. local pick up only.

here's a pic of it on my car....

and a pic of it when it was on my buddy's car before we took it off to put it on my car.

lol i am not in a rush to sell. its more like if it sells then it sells and if it doesn't then it doesn't.

its just i like the oem hood a little more. if my car was any other color than i would just keep it.

i might just have it sprayed so its almost black though if it doesn't sell.

What's the difference between the cf hood and the oem hood (other than one obviously being cf)? Would painting the cf negate the weight difference when compared to the oem? Sorry for the noob questions, just wondering why you wouldn't just spray the cf hood if the only issue is the color.

why spend money to paint the hood when i got the oem hood just sitting in my garage?

yes the weight difference is there. when you lift both hoods, the cf hood is much much lighter. but just don't feel like spending the extra money to paint it.

Ah, very good point.

I think the cf hood looks great on your car. In fact, I personally prefer cf on black cars BECAUSE it doesn't stand out as much. Looks a lot cleaner that way imo.

the clear coat is there peter but it is slightly faded. that is why its not as dark as it would be when you first buy it.

Keep the hood Chad. I remember telling you before that I didn't like CF hoods on your car/color. But once I saw it on your car, for some reason it just looks really good.
