Custom Cool White LED Cupholder

I got this cupholder out of a coupe at the junkyard thinking I was going to do something. I ended up not needing it and I had a few led's left over so I went ahead and wired them up inside the cupholder. I know some cars come stock with these but not Accords. 4 "Cool White" LEDS are mounted underneath the cup adjusters so during the day and even at night you don't see the actual bulb since they are facing out. All wiring has been soldered and heat shrink tube to cover the wires. All you have to do is ground the black wire and give the red wire 12v accessory power. Either hook it up to a toggle switch or hook it up to parking lights to only come on when parking lights are on. Stock cupholder just pops out after you pop out the shifter trim (automatic and manual are the same, just pop it out using a panel tool, just clips hold it all in).

I wanna try to get $35 shipped OBO for this. The cupholder itself is 2 pieces anywhere through a honda dealer (top piece is $13, bottom is $13 plus add'l $ for the screws and clips; all screws and clips are included with this)

Is there a way to tap it into the power for the bulbs in the seat warmer switch.

No not necessarily. When you turn your parking lights on the switches light up. If you ran it to your cigarette lighter then it will be on all the time when the cars on which I guess isnt that bad. I was just trying to find a way to let them only come on when your headlights would be on.

Well yeah your totally right there. I was talking more about not having to use the heated seats. The shifter idea should work and what a good idea!

possibly. but what i did on my interior leds under the dash i actually shaved the led down to be a flathead so it wouldnt project a round circle on the floor, it would just beam down. so it could be diff, not sure. i could always experiment

bad news

http://cgi.ebay.com/100PCS-5mm-5000m...3A1%7C294%3A50

those aren't prewired. i always buy the ones that are prewired b/c then i dont have to worry about wiring in the resistor on them and it looks a lot cleaner when i install it and send it to you. if someone wants me to do their cupholder i'll shave the circles off so they are flat and take some pics and show comparisons
