Talking TSX/e46 Retrofit, Blackhoused, Nexson. NOW ACCEPTING OFFERS

Hey Guys,

Up for sale is the retro I currently worked on. I bought all the parts myself up front. I wanted to make a retro that looked good and was affordable at the same time, well as much as a retro can be affordable.

The Retro consist of:
  • 2 Brand new headlights $155
  • 2 e46 Bezels $70
  • 2 TSX Projectors (fresnel) $125

-Total for parts to make this was $350, I will be charging $250 for labor plus shipping. I have both original boxes for a nice clean shipment.

-Total will be $620 with paypal fees plus shipping. You will still need HID kit and bulbs. The TSX projectors accept d2s bulbs. The bulbs and HID kit are not included in this sale

-The retro is painted black with a low gloss black finish. The hi beam was also masked off and partly painted for a sleek, flowing look. The e46 bezels were painted Alabaster Satin Silver and Black to fit the style of the retro.

The pictures of the retro and how it looks are below. Below the pictures I have some areas I wanted to point out which are not visible from normally viewing, but I must point them out because I want this thread to contain everything about the retro.

Retro's as a whole
Not noticeable, but the bezels are slightly aligned to the outter brim of the projector. This allowed the bezel to fit onto the projector without having to cut out most of the bezel itself.

In the following pictures you will notice that the bezel on the top was slightly cut a little bit to much. Again not a big deal, but for reference, the other side was not cut as much.

Reference of what the other side looks like

When I masked off the chrome plating, to black house, the tape pulled off a little bit of the sensitive chrome finish.

On the passenger side headlight, some areas underneath the headlight needed to be trimmed, if you look at the headlight upside down, you can see white marks only on this headlight when looking at it upside down. They are completely un-detectable from normal viewing.

haha, Yes I am. I don't need to get paid until I am done. The fact that I don't have to buy all the parts up front, is refreshing.

Mad clean headlights.
Wish I had $600 for a set of projectors.

Bump for an honest guy, pointing out all the flaws before someone blindly buys it.

Brian's work is top-notch. Don't think twice about buying from this guy...

I'm not interested in buying, but are the beams adjustable?

Thanks Oscar!

The projectors have 3 aiming bolts on the bottom. I didn't mention them as I have the projector set on a good level and do not want them tampered with, unless need be. Sometimes when a new owner doesn't know the extend that the projector can move, it can cause pressure on the bezel, and it can pop off.

OooooOoooOooo projector in the signal

I think you should just "make" your own 7th gen light. Just use the headlight as a mold, and fiberglass your own headlight. Now that would be SICK.
