I am interested in the runners. Do you know what the part number for them is or what car they are off of? I need runners for 03 CL-S.

I thought the point was to keep it a little rough since i have read from multiple sources that is better for power/fuel atomization. Here is a quote from another car forum.

"In general rougher surface tends to produce better power than smoother, due to the boundry layer.

Especially on the intake side, which needs some turbulence to keep the fuel atomized."

if ppl are doing this then obviously there is reason for this. since injectors are so close to valves and almost at end of intake runners that i dont think it will hurt anything by polishing runners in this case.

Ah ,that was my mistake.

I thought p2r only specialized in development of the 01-03 CL-S/TL-S motor.

People like you are doing this. People that know how a engine works don't do this. There's a reason why 99% of after market intake manifolds/runners for any application maintains a rough surface on the cold/intake side. You throw off the flow by adding turbulence of the moving air by having it polished. Most people don't polish, they just do the porting work. They leave it scuffed.

well leaving it scuffed can be done easily, if i get serious buyer i can certainly just use 80 gritt paper on drill and make it scuffed
