Kenwood double din, Apline Amp, JL 12W3 sub

EDIT: NEW PRICE!
Head unit (2din, gps, dvd, full parameter/EQ control) $500
Amp: $90
Sub: $100
All 3: $650

This is a great deal, the head unit alone cost me 900... all the components are made by higher end companies and work perfectly.

I loved this set up in my accord and I figured i would try and sell it here first.

here is the amp it is a Alpine MRP-M500, all screws are present and amp works great.

here is the sub, it is a JL 12W3-v3-4ohm.

Here is the head unit, my favorite part. It is the kenwood DDX714. It has DVD playback, MP3 cd playback, I also have an ipod hook up, the garmin GPS addaptor, and the mic. The HU is capable of bluetooth phone as well as bluetooth audio input.

Back

ipod hook up

mic

GPS attachment made for the head unit

Extra goodies:(not for sale individually)

accord 7th gen wiring harness (i left most of it still soldered together but you can cut and resolder if need be

Amp wiring kit (including 2 fuses)

sub grill

2din mounting harness (gets rid of the cubby below the stock radio) also stock radio will still turn on if the wiring harness is used, i used it to store my cds haha

Here is a pic of the head unit in the car

and a pic of the sub in the car

If you are local: Charlotte, NC I will give you the custom ported box and faceplate the you see ^ for free if you buy the rest.
Also if you buy everything I will throw in the wiring harness, amp wires, accord mounting brakets and plate, and the sub grill that you can use at your disposal.

do you know where I could find a double din bracket and harness like that? I've been looking everywhere and all I can find is the single din ones with the pocket underneath.

That's fine. Would you mind telling me how you got the trim ring to fully cover the gaps?

jmoosh: i think i got it literally from a honda dealership website, i just looked and found it the part number is 08B06-SDA-100, but you have to make sure you get the right one i think there are two P/N 08B06-SDA-101 is the other one or something of the sort. The difference is in the back bracket attaches differently. Its either 03-05 then 06 or a i4 v6 difference i cannot remember but you should be able to figure it out.

kickskid21: mounting kit or radio (cant remember) came with a trim ring that i had to cut extrememly thin top and bottom( edit: just found it, it broke on the way out but i cut off the top or bottom, dont know now, completely to get it to fit and the sides i only left a cm or less) then youll have to tape it on to the radio. Kinda ghetto but as soon as it was on it never came off and it was the only way i could think of to fill the gaps and looks better than the silver from the radio. You can buy just the trim ring that goes around the radio (not the whole faceplate) i believe so you can have a couple attempts at it.

the radio still turns on in the sense that it powers up alowing you to see the AC controlls and time and insert/remove cds. It wont play sound if you try and play a cd tho because the output wires have essentially been moved to the new headunit with the harness

I see, the thing is my friend has an aftermarket system and his clock flashes.. which is very annoying and it does not allow him to load any CD's
Where'd you get the hardness?
Custom?

nah its just the standard harness i believe. if his clock is flashing then he has the right harness because the radio is getting power. to stop it from flashing you have to simply set a new time and it will stop. From what i can only assume is that he hasnt put in the radio code to unlock the system. You can get this code by going to a honda dealership and giving them his vin#. It will lock you out of the radio system any time your battery is unplugged.

How much for just the headunit and dash kit shipped to 06111?

I have the Kenwood KVT-614 and it's given me a bunch of problems. Heard the double-din's didn't have the same issues. I already have my own GPS, Ipod wire, and harness, from my headunit so I wouldn't need yours.

Thanks
